Robert Andrew Millar brings Modernism week to The La Quinta Country Club
Desert Sotheby's International Realty is proud to announce that real estate advisor Robert Andrew Millar is bringing Modernism Week programming to La Quinta—opening rare access to the midcentury modern heritage behind the gates of The La Quinta Country Club.
Millar is partnering with Modernism Week organizers to curate an experience spotlighting works by celebrated desert modernists, including Laszlo Sandor, John Lautner, William F. Cody, Hugh Kaptur, Arthur Elrod, A. Quincy Jones, John Walling, and Robert Ricciardi—offering a desert insider's look at the architectural and design legacy that shaped the Coachella Valley's distinctive modern aesthetic.
The February 19, 2026 afternoon program will feature:
- A guided architectural tour highlighting significant homes and design pedigrees within The La Quinta Country Club.
- Expert talks and conversations about the history of La Quinta and The La Quinta Country Club, the celebrities who lived there, and the architects and designers who made it happen
The tour and talk will be ticketed with limited capacity to protect homeowner privacy and ensure an exceptionally tailored experience.
